Living up my Last Days!!!

I cant believe it but the time has almost come for me to go on my mission to Tempe, Arizona so I needed to get in all the fun I possibly could until then
This is me and all my nieces and nephews minus Dayne and Bridget! What a great bunch :)
Once in Utah my parents and I went to the Salt Lake City Temple... AMAZING

Look who we ran in to :) Elder Healey
And my beautiful old roommate Ali stopped by! It was like we had never separated
And what luck that my stunning Granny was visiting Utah at the same time
friends+ sisters +sister-in-laws +nieces= NON-STOP FUN
We all have mixed feelings about me leaving
The final night with the clan... miss you all already
Tomorrow morning at 10:30a.m. I will be getting set apart at the MTC with my family and then we will have time to grab a bite to eat and then I will be back at the MTC for some goodbye hugs and kisses! I love you all soooo much.

Sick of Packing!!!

So I have to take a break from packing my life into 2 bags... yes I said 2, and so i decided to do a little bit of blogging :)
Lately I have been thinking a lot about what I am and am not going to miss when I am on my mission for a year and a half and so here are my Top 3's
 NOT going to miss
Number 1. Working at 54th Street
I'm def not bashing on 54th street! go there, the food, place and people are great but I am just sick of waitressing
Number 2. Homework! ughh I am def. okay with taking a break from homework
Number 3.  DATING ... no thank you!
Now for things I WILL miss
Number 1. My wonderful Family!
Be jealous! this is an old picture and a few are even missing but I love all these people SO much and I thank Heavenly Father every single day for them!
Number 2. My amazing Friends
I have WAY too many friends to put on here so i just decided to go with a picture of my Best Friend in the whole world and thats my awesome little sis Heather! I am SO lucky for all my Missouri and Idaho friends :)
Number 3.  ZUMBA
Man i wish i could packed my sister-in-law Kass into my bag with me and every morning we could just zumba away! That would def start my day off right

Last but not least the things the I just CAN'T WAIT for!
Number 1. For all the amazing new people I am about to meet! Whether it's people i will serve with or people that I will teach I just can't wait for it all!
Number 2. To study the gospel 24/7! Omg this is just going to be awesome. Everyday i seem to make up excuses for why I didn't read a lot in the Book of Mormon that day or why I didn't serve someone that day and now NO More Excuses!!!
Number 3.  To just Forget Myself and go to work! Gosh sometime even I get sick of hearing myself complain and now no more. I dont care if leg is broken, I will find a way to do the Lord's work no matter what it takes!
The Book of Mormon is TRUE! read it if you don't believe me :)

Go to the Temple... Check

In my many preparations to go on my mission I must go to the temple.
I traveled to Florance, Nebraska to the Winter Quarters Nebraka Temple and it was beautiful as always!
Now i feel as ready as ever to go and serve
My bro-in-law Paul, sister Christy,my dad, niece Lindsay, and life long friend Sharla came to support me!
Don't forget about my wonderful mom!
This weekend I also got the privilege to speak at my niece Sarah's baptism!
What an awesome opportunity!
She has grown up so fast, I'm so proud of her :)
This weekend was definitely one for the Books

Hello Blog World

I have postponed entering into the blog world long enough and now it’s time!
Just to get everyone caught up, I have just been called to serve a mission in the Arizona Tempe Mission where i will be speaking English :)
I am sooo excited for this once in a life time opportunity to just forget myself and serve the Lord for 18 months.
Who knew how much work it was though???
First you're running from doctor to doctor trying to get your papers done
then you wait, wait, and wait some more.... then FINALLY it comes!
Then it’s a rush to buy everything you could possibly need and pray that it fits into 2 bags (well maybe that’s just me)
BUT... There IS joy in the Journey!
  Drum roll please...........
                                                         Arizona Tempe Mission BABY!
My wonderful family who was there on my big day!
