HELLO HELLO!This was a great week.
WANTED: New People To Teach!
We are in dire need but we have seen some crazy miracles this week. I'll share a really cool one with you. The Hermanas were biking and they stopped and talked to this 16 and 9 year old boy and told them a little bit about the church and they gave them their number. So when they got home and told us about the referral, Needless to say i wasn't super excited because they were kids and there was a slight chance anything would come of it! - I need more faith, obviously! A couple of days later we called their number and talked to the 9 year old and told him a little bit about church and about scouts and he was SO excited! Then he gave the phone to his mom and we talked to her and she was fine with him coming to church and scouts but wasn't super interested in it herself! Well so.. she dropped him off at church yesterday and he met with his new cub scout leader and just absolutely loved church. when his mom came to pick him up after church we talked with her for a bit and now we are going to teach her family next week!!!! CRAZY!
Annette and Donny got baptized this week and it was just great! The Atonement is REAL and i am so grateful for it! Heavenly Father loves us SO much and it doesn't matter who we are or what our circumstances are... He wants ALL of us to return to live with him and his Son, SO He sent his Son so that would be possible. If that's not love then i don't know what else is. As we take advantage of His atonement we qualify ourselves for that great blessing!
Guess what!!! okay so this week they announced that 3 wards in our stake are splitting to make a brand new ward and that means either us or the elders will cover 5 WARDS! crazy huh! But it sounds fun (the more work the better :) I think it will most likely be us that gets the 5 wards because 2 of our wards are splitting and only 1 of the elders is. Ha ha, i used to not know that missionaries were allowed to cover more then 1 ward, and now we might have 5. NUTS!
Next week is transfers so i might of might not be here. I have been in this area for 7 1/2 months, but i don't feel like I'm going anywhere. Only time will tell I guess.
Welp I love you and and I'm grateful for all of your prayers. Keep going to Church, Praying, and Reading the scriptures. "CPR" will save your life :)
Love,
Sister Martin
